Manufacturing Data & Analytics

Facility data needs a consistent path into enterprise reporting. SOLLUS worked alongside an established IT and analytics team to develop data pipelines and operational Power BI reports.

The business challenge

Connect facility data with enterprise reporting.

Operational information held in facility-level systems needed to be integrated, transformed, and prepared for consistent enterprise analysis, including manufacturing quality reporting.

The engagement

SOLLUS supported a major global manufacturer within its existing enterprise IT and analytics environment. The engagement combined cloud data engineering, pipeline maintenance, and operational business intelligence.

SOLLUS developed and maintained pipelines and reports within the client's established enterprise architecture, working alongside its IT and analytics team.

SOLLUS's contribution

The work behind the result.

  • Developed and maintained data pipelines connecting facility SQL Server information with Azure services and Databricks.
  • Developed SQL and Python transformations and maintained Delta Lake datasets for reporting.
  • Developed and published operational Power BI dashboards and reports following established corporate design standards.
  • Supported manufacturing quality analysis, including welding defects and related production indicators.

Conceptual workflow

How the information connects.

A conceptual view of related components in the enterprise environment. Individual datasets could use different paths; the stages do not prescribe a universal processing sequence.
